Anna Levin

Program Coordinator

Preferred Gender Pronouns: she, her, hers

Anna was born and raised in Winnipeg and her interest in food and social justice began at a young age, around her family dinner table. While completing her Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy at the University of Manitoba, Anna began to see the importance of local solutions to so many of the social justice issues she was passionate about. This led her to seek a career in community development, at first with a focus on youth, and gradually shifting to food. Anna enjoys pretty much everything about food; from growing it, to catching it, to cooking it, and most of all eating it. She is grateful to have the opportunity to share this love with many others through Food Matters Manitoba’s programming.
