Food Matters Manitoba is excited to present the first ever Community Tables hosted in Northern Manitoba!
Community Tables will run from May 24th to 26th, in Thompson, Manitoba. This two-and-a-half-day training will equip you with the knowledge and skills to run a healthy meal or snack program at your organization. From cooking for clients with diabetes to menu planning and nutrition label reading, Community Tables provides practical skill building experiences and resources to help you with your work.
Community Tables facilitators will guide you through curriculum that has been developed by nutritionists, and food program coordinators, who have extensive experience in the field. Workshops include interactive time in the classroom and hands on experience in the kitchen, putting new knowledge immediately into action.
Community Tables will leave you feeling inspired and well equipped to make healthy changes at your organization.
