The 2014 Growing Local Conference is just a week and a half away! Keynote speakers include Pultizer Prize-winning journalist Michael Moss (also the author of Salt, Sugar, Fat: How the Food Giants Hooked Us) and the University of Saskatchewan’s own Tom Allen.
Growing Local, which will take place Friday February 28 and Saturday March 1, is your opportunity to learn about food justice, find out about sustainable agriculture, take part in DIY food skills, and make connections with people all across the food community. More than 30 display booths will be available to visit between workshops.
